Women at Gregs before heading home

The Lady Golden Eagles will take on St. Gregory’s University tonight in Shawnee, Okla., at 6 p.m. They will return home to take on Oklahoma Baptist University on Saturday at 3 p.m.
ABOUT THE LADY GODEN EAGLES: The Lady Eagles are currently 9-11 overall and 3-9 in conference and are currently 10th in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
The Lady Eagles’ top scorer is currently sophomore Jessica Berlin with 11.84 ppg followed by teammate and fellow sophomore Sierra Shipley with 11.77ppg. Freshman Morgan Anderson is leading the team in rebounds with 5 rpg followed by senior Chelsea Garrison with 4.74 rpg. As a team, the Lady Eagles have held their opponents to an average of 57.25 ppg while averaging 61 ppg.
JBU beat St. Gregory’s during winter break with a final score of 46-45. The game came down to a three-pointer made by sophomore Jessica Berlin as time ran out.
ABOUT THE SGU LADY CAVALIERS: St. Gregory’s is currently fifth in the Sooner Athletic Conference with a season record of 13-5, 6-5 in conference play. SGU lost their last match to Oklahoma Baptist, who will play JBU on Saturday, with a final score of 53-51. St. Gregory’s leading scorer is junior Leticia Silva with 17.35 ppg followed by senior Jalisa Howard with 15 ppg. Howard is also leading her team in rebounds with 3.88 rpg, followed by freshman Tameka Scott with 3.81 rpg. As a team, SGU has held their opponents to an average of 61.22 ppg while scoring 70.11 ppg. They are also third in the division for blocks per game with 5.263. They are sixth for total blocks with 100 and field goal percentage with 44.8 percent.
ABOUT THE OBU LADY BISONS: The Lady Bison’s currently sit at the fifth-seed in the SAC with a record of 11-9, 7-5 in conference. OBU has won their last two games. While they won the match against SGU by two points, they beat Oklahoma Christian the Thursday before 84-68. Oklahoma Baptist’s leading scorer is freshman Lillian Prince with 12.89 ppg followed by senior Bridget Reynolds with 11.53 ppg. Prince is also the leading rebounder with 8.78 rpg followed by freshmen Raquel Dudzevich with 6.30 rpg. OBU is currently ranked eight in the division in total 3-points made with 151. The Lady Bisons have averaged 68.85 ppg while holding their opponents to 65.50 ppg.
