Siloam Springs, Ark. (November 21, 2011) — The Lady Eagles have signed Libby Blasingame, a six-foot middle blocker and right side hitter from Liberty High School in Frisco, Texas.

Blasingame is a two year First Team All-District honoree along with being a captain on her high school volleyball team for the past two years.  She has also been honored as part of the Academic All-District team for the past three years.

"One of the things that she really wants is to represent Christ through volleyball, and that is something that really matches up with JBU volleyball," said head coach Stacie Johnson.

Blasingame is unsure of what she wants to major in, but she chose JBU because of the way the Lady Eagles play to give glory to God on the court and because of the potential to be involved in missions.

"It's just everything I want in one school," said Blasingame.
