Monett, Mo. (November 18, 2011) — This week the Lady Eagles signed forward Hunter Glouse of Monett, Mo. Glouse has been a starter on her high school team since her freshman year, averaging 18.7 points, 6.7 rebounds 0.4, assists and 1.3 steals per game last year.  Glouse has also been named to the All-Big Eight Conference First Team and the All-District First Team her sophomore and junior years.

“Hunter is a match up problem for a lot of teams,” said the Lady Eagle's head coach Jeff Soderquist. “She is strong enough to take the ball to the basket and a good enough shooter to hit the 3-point shot.”

“I always knew that I wanted to go play basketball on the college level. I really liked the girls on the team and the coaching staff and really think John Brown will be a good fit for me, " said Glouse.

Glouse plans on majoring in biology, and eventually wants to pursue a career as a dentist.
