Bethany, Okla. (October 26, 2011) — The JBU women’s volleyball team fell 1-3 (15-25, 25-20, 20-25, 16-25) to Southern Nazarene (Okla.) on Tuesday night on the road in Sooner Athletic Conference action. 

Offensively, junior Erin Didier led the Lady Eagles with 12 kills followed by senior Allie Rankin with eight.  Freshman Courtney Marshall and sophomore Staci Williamson added seven a piece.  Sophomore Kailey Bain had 22 assists, while junior Aubrey Adams tossed out 12.

Defensively, Didier, Bain, and senior Sarah Jordan each collected 20 digs.  Rankin had three blocks. 

SNU (25-5, 9-2) was led by Natalia Oliveira with 18 kills.  Meanwhile, Kaylee Piatt tallied 43 assists.

The loss drops the JBU to 16-14 overall and 4-7 in the SAC.

Up next, the ladies return home to face Oklahoma City on Saturday at 1 p.m.
