Oklahoma City (September 13, 2011) — The JBU women’s volleyball team improved to 10-4 overall and 1-0 in the Sooner Athletic Conference after defeating Mid America Christian (Okla.) 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-15) on Tuesday night in Oklahoma City.

The win extends the ladies win streak to eight matches.  MACU dropped to 0-7 with the loss.

Offensively, sophomore Staci Williamson and senior Allie Rankin paced the team with 10 kills each, followed sophomore Erin McIlroy with seven and junior Erin Didier with six.  Sophomore setter Kailey Bain tossed up 19 assists, while freshman Katie Durst added eight.  Bain also had three aces.

On the defensive side, senior Sarah Jordan picked up 13 digs, and Rankin added three blocks. 

Up next, the ladies return home to face Southwest Assemblies of God (Texas) on Friday at 7 p.m. in Bill George Arena.
