The Lady Eagles defeated Oklahoma Wesleyan 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-19) in their home opener on Tuesday at Bill George Arena.

The win moves the loves to 2-3 on the year.

Sophomore Staci Williamson played strong with five aces and eight kills.  Sophomore Erin McIlroy paced the team with nine kills followed by Williamson’s eight and Erin Didier with six kills.

Senior libero Sarah Jordan led defensively with 14 digs followed by Didier and Williamson both with six digs.  Senior Allie Rankin had four blocks to lead in that category.

The JBU netters will be competing again this Friday at the College of the Ozarks Classic.  They take on McPherson (Kan.) and Midland (Neb.) on Friday, Sept. 2 at 3 and 5 p.m. and Illinois Tech and Bethany (Kan.) on Saturday at 9 and 11 a.m.
