Siloam Springs, Ark (April 7, 2003) - 101.1 KLRC, located on the campus of John Brown University, will broadcast the 34th Annual Dove Awards on Thursday, April 10 from 7 to 10:30 p.m., live from Nashville, Tenn.
The pre-show will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the official “Dove Awards Pre-Show” beginning at 7:30. Live coverage of the event will take place between 8 and 10 p.m., with post-show highlights following the awards from 10 to 10:30. KLRC is the only Northwest Arkansas media outlet offering listeners a live broadcast of the 34th Annual Dove Awards.
The Dove Awards recognizes achievement in all genres of contemporary Christian and Gospel music and is the premiere television awards show for the contemporary Christian and gospel music industry. Founded in 1964, the 4,500-member Gospel Music Association is dedicated to educating the public and the music industry concerning the mission and role of gospel music in today's world.
KLRC received the prestigious Dove Award in 2001 and 2002 for national Radio Station of the Year-Small Market.
