Siloam Springs, Arkansas (April 7, 2011) - John Brown University’s Student Activities (BLUE Entertainment) presents the Building 429 “Listen to the Sound Tour” on Wed., April 13 in the Cathedral of the Ozarks. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m.
“We are very excited about bringing the “Listen to the Sound Tour” to this community,” said Matthias Roberts, student director of BLUE Entertainment. “Being able to jointly support Building 429 as they anticipate a new phase of their career as well as welcoming new artists Revive and Anthem Lights is an opportunity that we couldn't pass up. We feel that this concert will be a great escape from the everyday routine for JBU students and overall be a wonderful event that the entire family can enjoy.”
Building 429 gained recognition in Christian music in 2005 with their song “Glory Defined,” which was named BMI’s Christian Song of the Year, and earned them the title New Artist of the Year by the Gospel Music. That year they also received nominations for Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year and Song of the Year. The group has toured with artists including TobyMac and Casting Crowns, as well as headlining several tours of their own in 2009 and 2010.
Revive, a high-energy band, from Sydney, Australia and Anthem Lights, from California join Building 429 in their spring tour.
