Parish and Bartlett Make Honorable Mention List

Siloam Springs, Ark. (March 28, 2011) — John Brown University women’s and men’s basketball players Anna Parish and Sam Bartlett were named NAIA Honorable Mention All-Americans for their respective sports this season.

Parish, a 5-9 sophomore guard from Yantis, Texas, guided the Lady Eagles to their third appearance in the NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball National Tournament this season.  She averaged 8.94 points, 3.56 assists, and 1.28 assists per game, while leading the women to a 20-12 finish.  Parish was also named Second-Team All-Sooner Athletic Conference.

Bartlett, a 6-6 senior center/forward from Mannford, Okla., led the Eagles in scoring with 12.36 points per game while shooting 48.5% from the floor.  He was also second in rebounding with 5.81 rebounds per game.  Bartlett also earned Second-Team All-Conference recognition while guiding the Eagles to a 22-9 finish.
