JBU Spring 2001 Commencement

Siloam Springs, Ark (May 1, 2001) — On May 5, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the Walton Lifetime Health Complex on the campus of John Brown University, 250 students will receive diplomas from the hands of Dr. Lee Balzer, president of the university. Dr. James C. Walters, JBU Distinguished Professor and Professor of Biblical Studies, is scheduled to speak to the capacity crowd of students, family members and friends of the university.

Dr. Walters will challenge the graduates with "Two Interrelated Questions: What is your Primary Passion? What is your Perspective?" In this its 82nd commencement ceremony, the university expects record number in attendance and encourages guests to arrive early. Handicapped parking is available.
