JBU Will Hold Fall Commencement Ceremony December 21

Siloam Springs, Ark (December 16, 2002) — John Brown University will hold its fall commencement ceremony on Dec.21, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the Walton Lifetime Health Complex on the campus of John Brown University. Approximately 167 students will participate in the ceremony.

John Brown University business professor Dr. Delia Haak will deliver the commencement address, titled “By These Stones II.” Dr. Haak graduated from JBU with a B.S. in Business Administration. She earned her M.B.A. and completed doctoral studies in Higher Education at the University of Arkansas, and her doctoral thesis received the College of Education’s Dissertation of the Year Award. Haak recently received the 2001 Faculty Excellence Award at JBU.

The fall 2002 graduating class at John Brown University includes 19 candidates for master’s degrees and 148 candidates for bachelor’s degrees.

Seating is limited and guests are encouraged to arrive early. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. Handicapped parking will be available.
