Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 15, 2010) — The JBU women’s volleyball team made quick work of Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) on Friday night in Bill George Arena. The ladies improved to 16-10 overall after defeating SAGU (12-12) 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-21).

On the offensive end, freshman Erin McIlroy posted 11 kills to lead the team. Senior Amber Wilson was close behind with 10. Senior setter Alyssa Hanson dished out 39 assists.

Defensively, junior Sarah Jordan picked up 15 digs followed by freshman Staci Williamson with 13. Wilson had four blocks.

The ladies return to action on the road against Oklahoma City next Tuesday at 7 p.m. and then head home for three consecutive matches beginning next Thursday against conference foe Southern Nazarene (Okla.) at 7 p.m. They’ll return on Friday to face Evangel (Mo.) in non-conference action at 6 p.m. and look to close out their homestand against Bacone (Okla.) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
