Volleyball wins two over Homecoming Weekend

Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 10, 2010) — The JBU netters got two more wins on Saturday after dropping St. Gregory’s (Okla.) and Lyon (Ark.) in six quick sets. With the wins, JBU moves to 15-9 overall and 4-3 in the SAC.

In their first match, JBU defeated SGU (8-12) 25-9, 25-13, 25-20. Freshman Staci Williamson and sophomore Erin Didier both totaled 11 kills, while senior Alyssa Hanson had 28 assists. Williamson also had 10 digs, and senior Amber Wilson had six blocks.

Against LU (10-19), JBU won 25-13, 25-23, 25-15. Williamson led the team with 11 kills, and Hanson had 30 assists. Didier had three service aces, and junior Allie Rankin had three blocks.

The women return to action on Thursday when they travel to Oklahoma City to take on Mid-America Christian at 7 p.m.
