Siloam Springs, Ark. (July 15, 2010) — Ashley Cochran of Ft. Smith (Ark.) Southside and Savannah Stauffer of St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Madison, Miss. have signed letters of intent to play women’s soccer for the 2010 season.

Cochran excelled in both soccer at basketball and Ft. Smith Southside. As a member of the soccer squad, she earned Conference MVP, All-State, and All-State Tournament Team honors.

Stauffer, who is a member of the National Honor Society, has 14 years of soccer experience including six years at the club level. She was a member of the Mississippi All-Star Team and also awarded Team Offensive MVP honors.

“I’m looking forward to having Ashley and Savannah join the squad during preseason training in the next few weeks,” said head coach Joe Thoma. “It will be fun to get back to work with the addition of these new players and start building on where we left off during spring training.”
