Siloam Springs, Ark. (February 28, 2010) — The JBU women’s basketball team closed out their year on Saturday afternoon after falling to Northwestern Okla. State 81-60 in the ladies final home game in Murray Sells.

The ladies also said farewell to seniors Micaela Cully, Amber Vogts, and Lenece Glossett.

Junior Ashley Taylor scored 14 points for JBU, while Keindra Scott had 22 points and 10 rebounds for NWOSU.

JBU fell behind by 22-34 at halftime, and managed to make it an eight point game with 10:59 left in the second half. That’s as close as it would get before NWOSU pulled away for the 21 point win.

The women end the year at 10-20, 6-16. NWOSU (14-16, 8-14) advances to the Sooner Athletic Conference after securing the eight spot with the win.
