Siloam Springs, Ark. (November 3, 2009) — It was a tough night for the JBU women’s volleyball team on Tuesday after being defeated in three sets, 21-25, 20-25, 14-25, by Oklahoma City in Sooner Athletic Conference action. The loss drops JBU to 22-10 overall and 6-6 in the SAC.

JBU could never get things going and struggled in the attack column by only hitting .097 %. Kirsten Lee and Amber Wilson led JBU with eight kills each.

Meanwhile, OCU (17-18, 8-4) had strong performances from several players. Xiaoting Ma led with 17 kills and Alex Benbrook followed with 11. As a team, the Stars had an attack percentage of .215.

On the defensive end, Shannon Proctor picked up 11 digs for the Golden Eagles.

JBU returns to action on Thursday when they travel to Bethany, Okla. to face Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m.
