Siloam Springs, Ark. (July 23, 2009) - 101.1 FM KLRC has been selected as a finalist for the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award for Religious Station of the Year. The NAB Marconi Radio Awards honor radio stations and on-air personalities for excellence in broadcasting. “It’s a tremendous honor to be selected as a finalist for this prestigious award,” said Sean Sawatzky, General Manager for KLRC. “We’re truly humbled to be listed among some of the very best stations in the country. The award is named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi. This is the first time that KLRC has been nominated for the most prestigious NAB award.
