Siloam Springs, Ark. (March 27, 2009) - Sparrow Recording Artist Bethany Dillon will visit the campus of John Brown University on Thursday, April 2. Dillon will speak and lead worship in chapel at 10:30 a.m. in the Cathedral of the Ozarks located on the campus of JBU. That evening she will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Ozarks. Tickets for the concert are $8 for students, $10 for the community, and $12 at the door. Singer/songwriter Dillon debuted on the music scene at age 14 in 2004 with her a self titled album. Since then she has completed several albums that have included hit singles “Beautiful,” “All I need,” and “Let Your Light Shine.” In addition she has also written various songs for movies such as “The Chronicles of Narnia” and “Dreamer.” Throughout her 5 year career Dillon has earned Dove Award nods as well as the opportunity to work with Gospel Music Association’s 2005 Producer of the Year Ed Cash. The concert on April 2 will begin at 7:30 p.m. with musical guests Carter Hulsey and JBU student Kacie Williams opening for Dillon.
