JBU Selects Next VP of Finance and Administration
Siloam Springs, Ark. (March 16, 2009) — John Brown University is pleased to announce that Kim Hadley has been selected to fill the role of Vice President of Finance and Administration beginning July 1, 2009. Hadley graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and then passed the CPA exam. She also earned her M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas and is currently pursuing a D.B.A in Marketing at Anderson University. She first came to JBU through her teaching in JBU’s Advance Program in Fort Smith and Rogers. Recently, she has served as director of the Organizational Management Program and as Faculty Development and Assessment Director in Professional Studies. She has also been a leading faculty member teaching in the JBU graduate and undergraduate business programs for the last five years. Before coming to JBU, Hadley had experience in both public accounting at Beall & Company in Fort Smith and internal audit control at Baldor Electric Company. As Vice President of Finance and Administration, Hadley will lead JBU’s business office, information technology office, and human resources, including oversight of operations at JBU’s award-winning radio station KLRC. “Kim brings a wealth of experience in finance and accounting as well as valuable experience in administration and teaching,” said Dr. Charles Pollard, JBU President. “She is deeply committed to Christ and to JBU’s mission of Christ-centered education, and I expect that the offices under her leadership will continue to flourish.” Hadley will fill the position that is being vacated by retiring Vice President of Finance and Administration, Pat Gustavson. Gustavson will leave JBU in June after 29 years of faithful service.
