Siloam Springs, Ark (January 17, 2000) - The Center for Marriage and Family Studies and PeopleCARE Clinics of John Brown University are offering the first of this year's seminars, "Life's Seasons: Managing Life's Transitions" on January 18 at 7:00 p.m.
The seminar is free to the community and will be held in the Dye Lounge on the campus of John Brown University. The seminar is the fourth in the LifeSolutions Seminar series offered by PeopleCARE Clinics to the public.
"You and I (and everyone with biological parents) go through predictable phases in our life cycle. Moving from one phase into another phase of the life cycle can be temporarily unsettling. Knowing ahead of time what these transition periods are and how to effectively manage them can make these life transitions less fearful and more fun-filled," said Dr. Shedd McWilliams, Administrative Director of PeopleCARE Clinic.
"Life's Seasons: Managing Life's Transitions" will focus on teaching ways to manage these transitions by making them less troubling. Dr. McWilliams will conduct the seminar.
