TWO MORE COMMIT TO JBU MEN’S SOCCER

Siloam Springs, Ark. (March 26, 2007) — Adrian Jasso, a 5-10 midfielder from Bryan High School (Bryan, Texas), and Alex McLean, a 6-0 defender from Garland Christian Academy (Garland, Texas), have committed to the John Brown men’s soccer program for the 2007 season.

Jasso, who was a member of the 2005 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Adidas All-State Team, is a three-time state champion. He is also a member of the Houstonians Futbol Club.

“Adrian is a talented attack player who should give us a spark up front,” commented head coach Bob Gustavson. “His playing experience with Houstonians FC will be a great help to him as he transitions to the college game.”

McLean, who received First Team All-State honors as a senior, plans to assist the team on defense.

“We’re pleased to have Alex join us this fall,” added Gustavson. “Besides excelling on the field, he’s an excellent student who will be a leader on our campus.”
