Siloam Springs, Ark. (January 29, 2007) - John Brown couldn’t overcome an eight point halftime deficit falling 62-70 to Science & Arts of Okla. on Monday night. USAO’s Avery Stevenson had a game high 25, while Adam Workman led JBU with 16.
The difference in the game came in the first half where Science & Arts of Okla. (4-13, 4-6) shot 40 percent (12-30) from the floor to 25 percent (6-25) from John Brown (12-8, 3-5). John Brown improved to 43 percent in the second half but couldn’t stop the Drovers from putting the ball in the basket themselves allowing them to shoot 50 percent for the half.
