Siloam Springs, Ark (October 11, 1999) - John Brown University will celebrate its annual homecoming this Friday and Saturday, October 8-9. This year’s theme is "Find Us Faithful: Celebrating 80 Years of Heritage." The focus will be on the history of the school and the heritage of the university from 1919-1999.
The activities begin on Friday with a special Homecoming chapel, and continue throughout the weekend with class reunions, the Homecoming luncheon, the alumni soccer game, and intercollegiate soccer and volleyball.
Saturday evening’s Homecoming Showcase in the Cathedral of the Ozarks will be the highlight of the weekend and will be followed by JBU’s 80th year birthday celebration, a time for alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends to gather in the Kresge Dining Room to celebrate 80 years of JBU Heritage.
Since 1919, John Brown University, a nondenominational Christian university, has provided top-quality, Christ-centered higher education.
