Siloam Springs, Ark. (November 3, 2005) - John Brown University officials released the following statement to the media on Thursday, October 27, 2005 regarding the four students who were arrested for stealing university property.
"It is extremely unfortunate that JBU students could have made a bad decision that would not only impact their Christian witness and JBU, but their own future. At this time, we are fully cooperating with the Siloam Springs police department and reviewing the case for appropriate disciplinary actions if the students are found guilty."
The property that was stolen has been returned to JBU. The four students are scheduled for a trial in early December.
