JOHN BROWN UNIVERSITY HOSTS TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE
Siloam Springs, Ark (October 2, 1997) - John Brown University will be hosting the 1997 Coalition for Christian Colleges technology conference Oct. 4-7.
Faculty, administrators and student leaders from 90 coalition schools are expected to attend the "Community, Campus Culture and Technology" seminar that will provide a forum for discussion regarding the wise use of technology as it impacts campus culture community.
Themes that will be addressed are:
* What are the implication of new technologies for the quality of residential life? * How can these technologies be tapped to enhance the quality of teaching and learning? * How can we create a sense of community for both traditional and non-traditional students? * What areas of traditional campus life could beneficially be modified or improved by making use of these new technologies?
