Siloam Springs, Ark. (September 24, 2005) - The John Brown Golden Eagles lost a 4-2 game to 10th-ranked Park (Mo.) Saturday afternoon in Siloam Springs. Park (6-1) led 1-0 at halftime after scoring a goal in the 44th minute. John Brown tied the game on a goal in the 62nd minute by Garrett Horton, assisted by Kyle Carter and Rodrigo Juliao. The score remained tied for more than twenty minutes before the Pirates unleashed a barrage of goals, scoring in the 83rd, 87th, and 89th minutes to take a 4-1 lead. Horton scored again in the 90th minute on an assist by Daniel Fleming and Steven Aparicio to set the final score. Goalkeeper Glen Goodner made five saves for John Brown (6-2-1).
