CLONINGER TO PERFORM AT JBU CHAPEL SERVICE

Siloam Springs, Ark (November 20, 1997) - Curt Cloninger, dramatic actor and humorist, will be performing at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, at a John Brown University chapel service in the Cathedral of the Ozarks. Admission is free and open to the public.

For over 15 years, Cloninger's award-winning one-man theater has traveled to college campuses, churches, theaters and conferences, performing for thousands of audiences all over North America. He uses comic and dramatic skills to present theatrical entertainment which moves people to see and feel the good news of God in fresh and creative ways. Cloninger's aim is to present entertainment that will leave permanent impressions on his audiences.

Cloninger received his B.A. in theater and communications from Abilene Christian University. He received further acting training at San Francisco State University and The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts. He is a Staley Distinguished Scholar Lecturer/Performer.
