JBU Men Move to 7-2 For the Season

Siloam Springs, Ark. (December 2, 2004) — The JBU men’s basketball team pulled away with another win Wednesday night in Batesville facing the Lyon Scots. Holding their opponent to 26% shooting, and shooting 48% from the field themselves, the Golden Eagles came away with a 71-51 victory. JBU is now 7-2 for the season.

Junior Brandon Cole once again led the scoring for JBU with 27 points and going 5 for 11 from behind the arc. Senior Reyjavick De Gracia added 13 points and 6 rebounds, and senior Pat Smits contributed 10 points and 6 rebounds.

The Golden Eagles will face Park University next Thursday at 8:00 p.m. in Murray Sells Gymnasium on the campus of John Brown University.
