Student Photos Exhibited at JBU
Siloam Springs, Ark. (November 24, 2004) — The John Brown University departments of art and digital media arts will exhibit photography from their 2004 JBU European Art Tour and the Imaging Ireland Digital Media Studies Tour in the JBU Art Gallery. The photographs will feature a wide variety of subject matter: the beauty of the Italian countryside as well as its historic monuments and the serenity of the Irish landscape and the chilling images of its conflict between Protestants and Catholics. The exhibit will run Tuesday, Nov. 30 - Friday, Dec. 10 and is free and open to the public. Regular art gallery hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. An opening reception will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. John Brown University is a private Christian university, ranked eighth by U.S. News & World Report in the Southern Region.
