Siloam Springs, Ark. (November 16, 2004) - The JBU men’s basketball team rebounded from their Friday loss to pound Park University in Parkville, Missouri Monday night. Shooting a 56% field goal percentage, and having five players in double figures, the Eagles dominated the scoring, winning the game 102-55.
Brandon Cole led the scoring for JBU with 23 points and going 5 for 11 from behind the arc. Sophomore Adam Workman contributed 15 of JBU’s points. Freshmen Steve Briggs and Joel Tesis, along with junior Mike Garland all added 11 points. The Eagles also dominated on rebounds with 44 total rebounds to Park’s 29. Cole and seniors Reyjavick De Gracia and Pat Smits each had six rebounds to lead the Eagles.
For the Golden Eagles’ next game, they will host Oklahoma Wesleyan Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
