Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 12, 2004) - Unable to score a goal, the JBU women’s soccer team lost for the third time this season against Northwest Oklahoma State. On a cold, rainy Tuesday afternoon, both teams remained scoreless in the first half. Twelve minutes into the second half, the Rangers scored their first goal and five minutes later scored their second. The Golden Eagles fought hard to score a goal, but were unsuccessful, leaving the final score 2-0 Northwest. John Brown’s record is now 8-3-2 for the season.
The women will be in action again Saturday, October 16 at the University of Science and Arts. The Golden Eagle’s next home game will be Wednesday, October 20 against St. Gregory’s.
