Siloam Springs, Ark. (October 4, 2004) - The John Brown women’s soccer team won a hard fought match on Saturday against Oklahoma City University. No goals were scored in regulation, sending the game to overtime. In the second overtime, senior Kristin Snyder kicked in a pass from sophomore Nikki Ganter to win the game. Goalkeeper Natalie Wall had seven saves to keep Oklahoma City scoreless.
Coach Thoma was glad with the win saying, “It was a hard fought road game. The team earned a good win on the road. JBU looked to win the game late in the second half and twice in the first overtime before Snyder knocked in Ganter’s pass from point blank in the second overtime.”
The Eagles next game is at home against Oklahoma Christian University Saturday, October 9th at 1:00 p.m.
