JBU's Dr. Gary Oliver to Appear on Call-In Panel
Siloam Springs, Ark (October 11, 2001) — Dr. Gary Oliver and Ms. Carrie Oliver will appear on the broadcast, “Secrets to Great Parenting” that airs Saturday, October 13, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. The Olivers will serve on a panel that answers viewer's call-in questions during the live satellite broadcast.
Dr. Oliver is executive director of the John Brown University Center for Marriage and Family Studies, is professor of psychology and practical theology at JBU, and has published many items on parenting, including Raising Sons and Loving it!, a book he co-wrote with his wife. Ms. Carrie Oliver is a Licensed Professional Counselor at the PeopleCARE Counseling Center and an experienced author, speaker, and conference presenter.
Also speaking during the broadcast will be Elisa Morgan, president of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and author of Meditations for Mothers and What Every Child Needs; and Steve and Valerie Bell of the Willow Creek Association, authors of Getting Out of Your Kids’ Faces and into Their Hearts and Faith-Shaped Kids: Helping Your Child Grow Spiritually.
