(May 10, 2004) - (Little Rock-AP) -- The federal trial of a racial discrimination lawsuit brought by fired basketball coach Nolan Richardson against the University of Arkansas continues today in federal court. The trial began last week. University of Arkansas Chancellor John White and UA system president Alan Sugg are expected to take the witness stand today. Athletic director Frank Broyles testified last week. The university fired Richardson in March 2002, saying Richardson had expressed a lack of confidence in the basketball program. Richardson won a national championship at Arkansas in 1994.
