(March 16, 2004) - (Undated-AP) -- Could an Arkansan end up on the Democratic presidential ticket after all?
Retired general Wesley Clark has dropped out of the presidential race, but he is among many possibilities being mentioned for vice president. Senator Blanche Lincoln's name has come up also.
Senator John Kerry -- the presumed Democratic nominee -- has months to make up his mind on a running mate.
Clark won only the Oklahoma primary before dropping out weeks after voting began this year.
North Carolina Senator John Edwards, who also dropped out of the presidential race, is another possible running mate.
