A Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with an emphasis in Radio/TV/Web gives students the opportunity to influence the production of media for Christ.

Below are updates from past and present students about their experiences in this major and where they are now.

Edith DotsonEdith Dotson '13, former EagleBreak anchor and KLRC announcer, works in Christian radio as assistant producer at Family Talk with Dr. James Dobson in Colorado Springs.

Hillary Sherrer ’13, works in Houston as assistant communication and marketing director at Camp Ozark.

Hayley Hendren ’13, a radio/TV minor, moved to LA to take an internship position with Harbinger Pictures, the production company that produced the 2011 film "The Help."

Taylor HohulinTaylor Hohulin '11 works for a Dallas Christian radio station, POWER FM, where he is as an afternoon drive DJ and works on web production.

Beth Pearson '11 completed a semester-long missions internship in 2010 at Trans World Radio in South Africa. She is currently teaching English in Japan.

Rebecca Wood '11 completed two internships in 2010 with one being in television atRebecca Wood KATV, an ABC affiliate, and the other in film in Little Rock, Ark. In 2011, she was one of 37 students selected out of more than 1,000 for the Academy of Television and Arts and Sciences TV directing internship in Los Angeles. She currently works as a page for CBS Studios in LA. She regularly assists with production for American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, the Price is Right and Reba McEntire's new sitcom Malibu Country.

Jeffrey Essary '13 -- Jeffrey was named semi-finalist for the International Television and Radio Society Summer Fellowship in New York City in 2012.
