Preparing for Ministry

The Christian Ministry and Formation program offers students a comprehensive ministry core that prepares them for any Christian ministry. The  9 different emphases in — care & counseling, chaplaincy, child & family, Christian schooling, cross-cultural, experiential education, leadership, worship and youth- provide the specialization to excel in one particular area. Along with a holistic curriculum students also receive:

Students are personally discipled by the professors in the program through regular meals together, advising, and ministry opportunities . In addition, underclassmen are regularly mentored by upperclassmen in the major.

Being the only Christian college in NWA, we provide students with unlimited access to local volunteer programs and internships where they can immediately employ their classroom learning into their unique area of ministry.

We provide our students with the opportunity experience a month long study-abroad program at locations across the globe. Not only can they can earn 9 credits in a month, but they also get to live with their professors and their families while exploring what effective ministry looks like outside of a North American context.
