Dr. Cary Balzer enjoys hiking and boating with his family—wife Tracy and daughters Kelsey and Langley—in the beautiful Ozarks, as well as reading science fiction novels and walking his dogs Millie and McDuff.
He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a Communication degree. He received a Masters of Divinity Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and Masters of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy in Theology from the University of Manchester, England. His first book, The Devotional Wesley, was published in 2009. Dr. Balzer currently serves as Assistant Professor of Theology and Co-Director of Faculty Development.
The JBU Bible department has led three trips to Jordan, two to Ireland and two to Britain.
