My name is Mandi Speakman, and I am the Resident Director of Walker Hall. I graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa in 2001 with a B.A. in psychology, and I am currently pursuing an M.A. in Higher Education from Geneva College. Originally from Frankfort, Illinois, I love visiting my family who still lives near there. I also feel passionate about traveling to see friends and interesting places across the country.

I am so excited to be here at JBU, working with students in this capacity! I love the energy they have for life. College students are given so many opportunities to challenge themselves and to grow into the individuals God wants them to be. It is a privilege to help them process these experiences!

My vision for Walker is that the residents would be encouraged each day as they live within this community. My prayer is that in the midst of joys and struggles, the men and women of Walker would be encouraged and challenged to seek Christ to be their true source of strength, peace, and comfort. I am continually overwhelmed at the thought of His faithfulness to us - His promises never fail!
