My name is Comfort Olugbuyi (pronounced Oh-lu-boo-ye, the ‘g’ is silent) and I am the Resident Director of Mayfield Hall. I'm very excited for the opportunity to serve God here at John Brown. I enjoy working with people who are in transitional points in their lives, and I feel as though College is one of the most life altering periods in lives. I was born and raised just outside of  Dallas, Texas.  I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas. Wiling working on my Bachelors, I worked with Juniors and Seniors in High school as well as Freshmen and Sophomores in college during in summer camps and also in various job settings. After graduating from UNT, I was blessed with the opportunity to be part of the Kanakuk Institute Ministry training program. Joining with John Brown University Graduate Program, I was able to complete both the Institute and a Masters of Arts in Youth and Family Ministry.

I enjoy traveling and going on mission trips, abroad and domestic. I enjoy serving in Mayfield. I feel as though Mayfield is a warm, safe, energetic place where there is constant growth. My desire and hope is that we will be able to sharpen each other and challenge each other as sisters in Christ as we dedicate our lives to serve God.
