J. Alvin Residence Hall houses 236 male students.

Rather than traditional long hall corridors, J. Alvin has 25 suites, each consisting of 4-8 rooms and a community bathroom located around a common “living room” area. This structure creates an excellent dynamic for building friendships. All rooms, with the exception of 7 singles, are double occupancy.

J. Alvin is known for its large, scenic atrium that hosts university events throughout the year.

In J. Alvin, there is also a computer lab, a study lounge, a four-level elevator, a kitchen, and a private weight room where residents can work-out.

As the only all-male hall on-campus, your experience in J. Alvin will certainly be full of energy and rich in tradition.
