Acts the Church on Fire
Join with your group in studying the Holy Spirit, the birth of the Church and the exciting growth of Christianity. This inductive study of Acts 1-14 has been designed to bring the Scriptures alive for your group with emphasis on behavioral life change.

Together in Christ - Ephesians
Together in Christ will lead your group to be energized as you learn and apply the important biblical truths that lead to unity even where diversity exists. You will better understand the great reconciling work of Christ to unify us with God, and then dive into practical ways to live out that unity in all your relationships.

The Parables of Jesus
Jesus told stories about everyday life, but they were stories with a twist. He intended to disturb people's assumptions about life and the Kingdom of God. His short parables not only evoked emotion, they demanded life change. The Master Storyteller's parables still speak to us today in powerful images that will disturb our assumptions and lead us toward life change as well.

James
Grow up. By faith we are reborn into the family of God. Absolutely, agrees James. But God wants more than justified infants; He wants mature daughters and sons. Faith is foundational, but it must be genuine, proven faith that's evident to a watching world. James's exhortation is a challenge to Christians of every age to keep growing up.

Mark
Lectio divina, or divine reading, is the ancient Christian practice of communicating with God through the reading and study of Scripture. The Lectio Divina Bible Studies build on this time-honored tradition, inviting readers to listen to God as they read His word. The approach is built around eight steps, lectio, meditation, oratio, contemplation, silencio, incarnation, epitome, and praeparatio - all designed to help the reader slow down, read Scripture, meditate upon it, and prayerfully respond to God's Word.

Elijah
It isn't always easy to serve our God in a culture that is alternately ambivalent and hostile toward him, especially when we ourselves are so flawed. We're not the first ones to face this challenge. In fact, Elijah--one of the most important prophets in history--faced the same struggle. Although he was outnumbered, misunderstood, insecure, and often fearful, he found power in obedience and prayer--and you can, too. Discover how you can obey and follow God even with your weaknesses in Elijah: Obedience in a Threatening World.
