Information and Services
The John Brown University Library is the central location for library resources supporting the research needs of the university community.
The library holds over 300,000 items in its collections (including 25,000 periodical titles and 198,000 e-books) and offers a variety of services, such as individual and group instruction sessions, and efficient interlibrary loan.

Policies for all patrons:
- Collaborative Work Areas/Quiet Study Areas: The main floor of the library and the group study rooms are set up for collaborative work and conversation. The second floor is the designated quiet area.
- Materials Used In-House: Please do not reshelve books and journals that you have used in the library. We keep statistics on in-house use for reporting and planning purposes. If you are able, bring items to the circulation desk when you are done with them; otherwise leave them on a table or book cart.
