Personal Information
Hi, my name is Joy Kendall, and I am the administrative assistant in the International Office. I graduated from JBU in 2000 with a major in English and a minor in Music. Three years later, my secret desire to return and work at JBU came true!
I grew up in this beautiful state of Arkansas. The quiet pace and rolling hills suit me well. In the spring of 2007, I eloped to Northern Ireland and married Jon Kendall. Life is good.
I’m here to help with your immigration needs, relating the
rules and opportunities for students. Our office also hosts an International
Orientation each fall. We set aside a couple days ahead of the regular
orientation to allow you and other students who have grown up abroad
to settle in and meet each other. If you ever need anything, you
may bring your questions to me, and I’ll point you in the
