Irish Family & Human Studies

Dr. Ogle and FamilyIf you are a Family & Human Services major or minor, then consider fulfilling your requirements while in Ireland. This six-credit-hour trip will be four weeks long (give or take a wee bit) and will take place in May 2014. During the trip, you will have the opportunity to live in Northern Ireland while traveling the countryside and serving the local people.

You can receive credit for two courses: Family Communication and Intercultural Family Seminar. These courses will allow you to connect your study of the family with different cultures and religious beliefs, and to study the effects of existential expressions of meaning associated with individuality and togetherness. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to study abroad in one of the most beautiful places on earth with a team of fellow students from JBU.
