Study for a semester in Ireland! Discover why the Irish are known worldwide for their warm hospitality, deep traditions, and sociable lifestyle. You will be living in Lakeside Manor, an 18 bedroom large brick home located on four acres with its back property line adjoining a beautiful lake. Just four miles from the city centre of Belfast and only three miles from Queen’s University, Lakeside provides the connection to vibrant communities while also giving you a beautiful, quiet and relaxing home base. Weekly lectures and exciting site visits that are directly connected to course areas of study will deeply enhance your learning and understanding of Ireland and her people. Some other highlights are host family visits, a trip to Trinity College and other great sites in Dublin, the North Coast & Giant’s Causeway, Yeats’ countryside village of Sligo, and an amazing variety of cathedrals and castles. Moreover, during your Fall Break, you can easily make connections to other places in Europe…hop on a boat or plane and take that trip of a lifetime to England, Scotland, France, Spain, or Italy.
