1. Where are the Graduate Ministry programs offered?
The Master of Arts in Ministry program is offered at the Rogers Center as well as the main campus in Siloam Springs. A low seat-time option is available through the Siloam Springs campus, which allows students to complete an MA in Ministry with minimal in-class time. In addition, students who are enrolled in the Kanakuk Institute have the opportunity to complete a Master of Ministry in Youth and Family Ministries which combines coursework at KI with intensive courses on the main campus in Siloam Springs.
2. Is there an application deadline?
While the Ministry degrees do not have firm application deadlines, we suggest that you apply at least six weeks prior to the beginning of your first course to allow ample time for transcript evaluation and recommendation forms.
3. How long will it take to get my degree?
A Master of Arts in Ministry degree can be completed in 2 ½ years, going part time.
4. Are the programs accredited?
Yes. John Brown University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
5. How is the program structured?
Each course in the traditional MA in Ministry program is eight weeks long, so you enroll in two courses per semester, and attend year around. With the low seat-time option, ministry students attend the first and eighth week of class on campus with the interim course requirements completed online.
6. What can I do with a MA in Ministry?
An MA in Ministry prepares students to work on church staffs and in para-church organizations. The degree can also help to prepare you for seminary education.
7. Do I have to take an entrance exam?
Students must complete the Miller Analogies Test (MAT), or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). A minimum score of 383 on the MAT or a combined score of 1000 on the GRE is required for admission in a ministry program.
8. Is financial aid available?
Financial assistance is available in the form of assistantships, fellowships, and student loans.

10. Are Graduate Ministry courses offered online?
