Specialty Emphasis
Students who already have a master's degree from JBU may earn a 12-hour emphasis in International Business, Leadership and Ethics, or Higher Education. Courses for these emphases may not be available at every JBU Center. Check with the recruiter at the Center nearest you for more information.

Specialty Emphasis in International Business Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements
- Admission to Graduate Studies (admission examination waived).
- A business-related master's degree from a regionally accredited university or completion of all MBA admission requirements and prerequisites.
- Permission from the Director of Graduate Business Programs.
In the international emphasis track, students can participate in an international trip to Guatemala or Ireland. This gives students the unique opportunity to experience international business and receive class credit at the same time. Students may choose from two trips, with different approaches – one trip deals with business culture in a developing country; the other explores European business in a growing international market. Participants will gain a better understanding of international business, preparation for the future, and the excitement of learning in an international setting.
