Master of Science in Leadership and Ethics
Leaders with integrity, character, trustworthiness and excellence
in professional training are in high demand.
The Master of Science in Leadership and Ethics (MSLE) program will help develop and equip you to lead with excellence using biblically-based models. The program will give you an understanding of how organizations work, how to provide leadership to a company, and how to implement ethical business practices. You'll get the latest in academic resources along with real-life experiences integrated into each class. What you learn today can immediately be applied to your career.
The MSLE program offers these distinctive features:
- one and two-year plan options
- evening classes, one night per week, at two locations
- experiential learning through hands-on training
- an emphasis on ethical leadership based on biblical principles
- nationally recognized faculty and business practitioners who will impact your life
Master of Science in Leadership and Ethics with emphasis in Higher Education
"Incorporating the 12 hour Higher Education Emphasis within your JBU master's program lays the perfect foundation for leading and ministering within the university setting. Higher education leaders will teach you to make a lasting impact on university students and systems." - Dr. Steve Beers
Coursework incorporates higher educational history, philosophy,
current trends, and leadership practices. The study culminates with
an applied project or thesis related to working in the educational
community. The Higher Education emphasis is offered under both the
Master of Science in Leadership and Ethics degree or the Master
of Arts in Ministry degree.
Premises of the MSLE Program:
- People learn best by experience.
- For experience to be of the highest educational value, there must be conceptual constructs for organizing, reflecting upon and analyzing the experience. Methods of experiential learning include personal reflection, small group interaction, student teacher interaction, structured exercises, and supervised fieldwork.
- Students work together to become a community of intellectuals and practitioners where they can practice and reinforce the leadership principles being taught.
- Faculty and students should model ethical leadership in their personal and professional lives.
