MFA in Visual Communication Design: A Collaborative Design Program
What is Collaborative Design?
Two or more CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVERS
WORKING TOGETHER with people or
organizations, TO SERVE in the pursuit
of SHARED GOALS, effective solutions,
and TO EFFECT POSITIVE CHANGE locally,
nationally, and globally.
JBU’S MFA IN VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGN focuses on the collaborative design process through design thinking, visual problem solving, creative strategy, leadership and ethics, implementation, and the integration of faith, design, and mission, for non-profit, ministry, and corporate-based organizations. The MFAVCD program works to train globally responsible visual communicators to integrate their faith into a vast and powerful communication delivery system. The program focuses on the ethical responsibility necessary in persuasion tactics and visual communication delivery systems, and how to use one’s skills in partnership with people and/or organizations to affect positive change locally, nationally and globally.
